'Supporting early childhood education and care in Tasmania'

Significant changes to education and care and childcare services were introduced in January 2012 with the implementation of the National Quality Framework (NQF)

The majority of education and care services are now regulated under the Education and Care Services National Law (Tasmania) 2011 (National Law).

Some services continue to be regulated under the Tasmanian Child Care Act 2001 and the state licensing standards.
