Guide to the NQF
Updates to the Guide to the National Quality Framework have been made. Changes include:
- The 2018 NQS
- Extensions of transitional regulations
- Registers of family day care educators
- Guidance about family day care venues
- Notifications of physical or sexual abuse
The updated Guide to the National Quality Framework (NQF) (February 2018 version) can be downloaded or ordered from the ACECQA website. To remain up to date, please note that future updates will be made to the PDF online. An information sheet is also available on determining ‘Exceeding NQS’ ratings for standards.
ACECQA website
A new ACECQA website will go live on Tuesday 30 January, with a much improved user experience.
Among other resources, the ACECQA website will provide further information about transitioning to the revised NQS.
National Regulations available
A consolidated version of the Education and Care Services National Regulations will be available at www.legislation.nsw.gov.au once the 1 February 2018 date has passed.
