The Education and Care Services National Regulations require an approved provider of an education and care service to ensure that a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is prepared by the service and reviewed at least annually.
The Education and Care Unit requires all Tasmanian education and care services to update their QIP to align with the 2018 National Quality Standard, as of 1 April 2018.
The Education and Care Services National Regulations do not prescribe a format for a QIP, however, ACECQA has developed a template to support services, which can be found here: https://www.acecqa.gov.au/resources/information-sheets
