Australian Government support
The Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment Early Childhood Education and Care COVID-19 Information webpage for up to date information on support measures for the education and care sector, including:
- Child Care Subsidy and Additional Child Care Subsidy, and
- the Transition Payment for early childhood education and care providers available for the period 13 July 2020 to 27 September 2020.
Tasmanian Government support
The Department of Education has waived the annual service fee for approved Tasmanian education and care services. Annual service fee invoices were not issued in May for payment by 1 July 2020.
Commercial tenants on Tasmanian Government properties including Department of Education premises may be eligible for a rent waiver. To check if this applies to you, discuss this with your co-located school or service or contact SRP@Education.tas.gov.au
