The Education and Care Unit facilitates a Stakeholder Reference Group (SRG). This group provides a forum for the Department to seek advice, discuss issues and collaboratively work with members to improve outcomes for children attending education and care (child care) services.
Members are from relevant peak organisations and education and care sector groups, therefore providing input based on individuals’ expertise and knowledge across a broad cross-section of the sector. You can find more information about the purpose of the group, membership and meetings in the SRG Terms of Reference.
The ECU is currently inviting expressions of interest to fill two vacant positions on the SRG:
- Outside School Hours Care member
- Parent/Family member
Interested persons are invited to complete an Education and Care Unit Stakeholder Reference Group (ECU SRG) Expression of Interest Form (office.com).
The closing date for the expressions of interest is 26 May 2023.
